As darkness falls across the river which runs through the small town of Hoi An the small waterfront suddenly becomes awash with light of all colours. Everywhere around this tiny harbour brightly coloured lanterns are hung creating a warm glow. In the water are these beautiful large and colourful sculptures which are lit from the inside.

Thanks, it’s really gorgeous and there are these little plastic chair restaurants on the side of the water offering good cheap food while you’re surrounded by lanterns. Well worth a visit.
Such a gorgeous place. Wish we could have spent more time there.
