Despite spending three weeks in Arequipa, it wasn’t until the last day of our stay that we made it to the premier tourist site of the city: El Monasterio De Santa Catalina. This beautiful collection of buildings built in 1580 make a wonderful place to spend an afternoon’s strolling.
