Patuxai, Vientiane
This is the view from the top of the Patuxai Arch found in the centre of Vientiane, Laos. It was built using American funds which were originally intended to build a new airfields during the Vietnam War. As a result, it’s sometimes referred to as the ‘vertical runway’.
